1 Dead, 7 Injured When Fire Ball Ride Flies Apart At Ohio State Fair

One individual was killed and at least 7 others injured when a ride malfunctioned Wednesday night at the Ohio Condition Fair in Columbus.

The accident happened on the fairs opening day at seven: 19 p. m. local period at the Ohio Expo Center grounds on the Fire Golf ball ride, according to Columbus news train station WKBW.

Battalion Chief Steve Matn of the Columbus Fire Division informed the Record-Courier that will some victims had been thrown through the ride during the accident. An 18-year-old man landed 50 feet through the ride and died on effect .
