“Roseanne’ s recent feedback about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are usually abhorrent and do not reflect the values of our cast and crew or even anyone associated with our show. We are disappointed in her actions to put it lightly, ” Gilbert tweeted just before HURUF axed the show.
“Roseanne” star Emma Kinney also chimed in upon Twitter.
Consulting producer Wanda Sykes quit the show just hrs before it was canceled.
Barr’s political sights caused a headache for HURUF despite many crediting the 65-year-old’s pro-Trump stance as the reason for the particular show’s success.
Barr opened up about the backlash over her conservative views in order to Jimmy Fallon on “The This evening Show” in April.
“ Oh yeah, individuals are mad about that. But you know, We don’ t give a f—, ” Barr told Fallon.

“ I mean, everybody had to decide for themselves, according to their own conscience, who also they felt was the lesser associated with two evils, ” she stated of the 2016 election.
“ You know, everyone chose that, so I’ mirielle not going to put anybody down who also didn’ t vote like me. This really is America, it’ s a free nation, and when you weigh it all jointly, I just felt like we needed an entire new thing. All the way. Bottom in order to top. ”
