American Airlines passenger sparks mid-flight brawl after denied beer, threatening to kill seatmate

One unruly American Airlines traveler caused quite the scene within the high skies when his request beer was denied by a trip attendant, leading him to press and threaten to kill their seatmate in an altercation that ultimately lead to a brawl between the 2 men mid-flight.

On May twenty-four, flight 1293 from Saint Croix to Miami International Airport took the turn for the worse thirty minutes within. Apparently, a passenger identified as Jerrika Felix in court documents shared with Sibel News by American Airlines had been denied a beer by a man flight attendant after the staffer noticed Felix making a “ commotion” within the bathroom.

Calling the particular flight attendant a “ f***t” upon returning to his seat, the particular passenger hit the call button plus requested a beer, which the un-named flight attendant denied. Felix continuing calling the crew member the “ f****t” and “ b****. ”

“ You could sense that the stress was increasing, so I just made a decision to use my iPhone in case some thing were to happen, ” witness plus passenger Bill Bolduc told  WSVN . “ He was asking for more ale and more alcohol. ”

According to the documents, Felix then began to “ push against” his male seatmate’ s hip and legs, trying to get out of his own seat in order to “ confront” the flight worker.

“[He was] striking the chair, swearing, yelling at some other passengers, spitting at people at some time, ” Bolduc recalls.

Escaping to the church aisle and continuing to shout, Felix soon turned to his seatmate plus said “ I’ m going to kill you” while pointing their index and middle fingers within the man’ s face in a motion that mimicked a gun. The guys began to brawl and another traveler leapt up to intervene before Felix was restrained by flight team.

Following the flight landed safely in Arkansas, Felix was immediately taken in to custody by Miami-Dade Police, who seem to turned him over to the F.

Within the wake of the terrifying incident, Bolduc told WSVN that passengers need to “ take comfort” in exactly how well the American Airlines air travel crew handled the hullabaloo.

“ Relaxed under pressure. It was very impressive, ” this individual said. “ The situation could have been a whole lot worse. ”

“ We thank our team of flight 1293 for taking proper care of our customers after a passenger triggered a disruption. We are proud of the work they are doing every day, ” a spokesperson pertaining to American Airlines told Fox Information.

Fees have been filed against Felix with regard to violating for interference with airline flight crew members and attendants and U. S. District Court within Southern District Florida.
