Berkeley Police release mugshots of Ben Shapiro protesters

Berkeley Police released the mugshots plus identification of five of the 9 people arrested Thursday night protesting at the University of California, Berkeley during an appearance by traditional speaker Ben Shapiro.

Dorothy Roark, 44, of San Francisco, Eileen Paul Sullivan, 29, of Hayward and Eddy Robinson, 44, associated with Oakland, were all arrested to carry a banned weapon.

Hannah Benjamin, twenty, of Fremont, was also arrested to carry a banned weapon but the lady was accused of battery on the police officer, too. Kerem Celik, eighteen, of Saratoga, was arrested regarding “ disturbing the peace. ”

It had been not immediately clear what weaponry the protesters were accused associated with carrying, nor was it recognized if any were members associated with Antifa. Weapons seized in the past through Antifa extremists have included stones, hammers, bats, knives, scissors plus chains.

A picture was circulating upon Twitter purporting to show Roark took pictures of with Hillary Clinton. In the claimed photo of Roark, the woman has on a pin from Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. It was not clear with what event the picture has been taken or how Roark apparently came to meet the 2016 Democratic president nominee.
