Body confirmed as missing singer

The body found at a marina over the banks of the Firth of On has been confirmed as missing Scared Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison.

The discovery was produced at Port Edgar, between the On Road Bridge and Queensferry Traversing, at about 20: 30 on Thurs.

Mr Hutchison, thirty six, went missing in the early hrs of Wednesday morning.

His family said there have been recent concerns about his psychological health, and they were “devastated” simply by his death.

Mister Hutchison had spoken openly regarding his battle with depression over the years, along with elder brother Neil saying he previously done so “in an attempt to help others with similar conditions”.

‘Articulate and charismatic’

In a statement released upon Friday, the family said Mr Hutchison “wore his heart on his outter, and that was evident in the words of his music and the content material of many of his social media content.

“His determination to discuss these matters in the legal undoubtedly raised awareness of mental health problems and gave others confidence plus belief to discuss their own issues. inch

His Frightened Bunny bandmates released a statement stating: “There are no words to explain the overwhelming sadness and discomfort that comes with the death of our dearest Scott, but to know he is no more suffering brings us some comfort.

“Reading messages of assistance and hope from those they have helped through his art provides helped immensely and we encourage a person all to continue doing this.

“He will be missed by most of us and his absence will always be felt yet he leaves a legacy associated with hope, kindness and colour which will forever be remembered and contributed. ”

The music performer is originally from Selkirk yet had been living in Glasgow.

Frightened Bunny – a band of siblings

Frightened Rabbit were formed along with Scott Hutchison on vocals plus guitar and his brother Grant upon drums, with the band’s most recent series also featuring Billy Kennedy, Andy Monaghan and Simon Liddell.

They released the first of the five albums, Sing the Greys, in 2006, with Scott furthermore releasing a solo album known as Owl John.

Scott and Grant had lately formed a new band called Mastersystem, joining forces with Justin Lockey through Editors and his brother James, a movie maker.

Their own debut album, Dance Music, was released final month.
