Boy, 9, raises $6,000 for sick brother at lemonade stand

GREENWOOD, S. C. – A 9-year-old South Carolina boy marketing lemonade to help his sick infant brother has raised nearly $6, 000 in two hours.
Andrew Emery wants to help his parents pay money for the medical bills for their little brother Dylan. The infant is affected with Krabbe disease, a rare and often deadly neurological condition.
So on Saturday, Emery spent 2 hours at used truck car dealership Southern Wheels in Greenwood, marketing lemonade and #TeamDylan t-shirts. He or she raised $5, 860 to be put into $1, 300 raised at a Fri benefit concert and $5, six hundred from a GoFundMe site for their brother, currently in a Pittsburgh medical center.
Andrew told The particular Index-Journal of Greenwood that he wants to buy his child brother a teddy bear along with having to pay his medical bills.
