California house of horrors parents face life in prison on torture, abuse charges

The parents of the kids in the California house of disasters case are facing up to a lifetime in prison after being billed Thursday for torture and kid abuse, authorities said, while uncovering more shocking details of the claimed atrocities that happened inside the provincial home.

Louise Anna Turpin, forty-nine, and David Allen Turpin, 57, appeared in court Thursday mid-day and entered not guilty pleas upon all counts, the Riverside Region District Attorney’s Office said. These were each ordered held on bail of $12 million.
