California man places kitten in freezer, throws her off balcony, police say

The California man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly placed the kitten in a freezer, squeezed the girl body and then tossed her away a second-story balcony, police stated.

Lucio Lopez, 34, was caught after he allegedly abused the particular kitten, who was only a few months previous, in his apartment in Fontana. Lopez was upset the kitten wandered into his apartment around two: 45 a. m., so this individual placed the animal in the freezer since punishment, witnesses told police.

Lopez ultimately took the kitten out of the refrigerator and began squeezing her entire body, causing so much pain the cat cried out in agony, based on police. He then threw the pussy-cat off the balcony.

The pussy-cat struck the concrete sidewalk, breaking her leg and causing upper body injuries.

But she survived after becoming treated by a veterinarian. Emergency room personnel nicknamed the resilient feline “ Olive. ”

“ The kitten does as well as could be, but will need surgical treatment and much needed love, ” the authorities said in a news release.

Lopez was imprisoned after he fled the picture. He was charged with pet cruelty and an outstanding warrant.
