California teacher who slammed military refuses to quit, but is condemned by city council

A Southern Ca city council member and instructor who called members of the army the “lowest of our low” has been condemned Tuesday by his authorities colleagues — some of whom required he resign.

Gregory Salcido, who had been placed on leave from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, has been heard on a video denigrating users of the military in a rant focused toward a 17-year-old student within the U. S. Marine Corps sweatshirt.

“They’re not like high-level thinkers, they’re not really academic people, they’re not mental people; they’re the frickin’ cheapest of our low, ” he mentioned. “I don’t understand why we allow the military guys come over here plus recruit you at school. The comments prompted President Trump’ s Key of Staff, retired Gen. David Kelly, to say Salcido “ have to have to go to hell. ”

Pico Rivera Gran Gustavo Camacho called Salcido’ t remarks “ bullying, arrogant plus aggressive behavior. ” The authorities cannot force Salcido to step down, but a motion was presented to censure Salcido – which may bar him from city committees and appointments, and ask him in order to resign from the council.
