‘Cheyenne,’ ‘Small Soldiers’ actor Clint Walker dies at 91

Clint Walker, who played the name character in the early TV traditional western “Cheyenne, ” has died.
Walker’s girl Valerie Walker tells The Related Press that her father passed away Monday of congestive heart failing at a hospital in Grass Area, California at age 91.
The towering, low dye strapping Walker played Cheyenne Bodie, who have traveled the West and passed down justice on the TV series that leaped for seven seasons starting within 1955.
Walker was an Illinois indigenous who was working as a security safeguard in a Las Vegas casino when an real estate agent saw him suggested he consider Hollywood.
In addition to “Cheyenne, ” he had little but visible roles in traditional films including 1956’s “The 10 Commandments” and 1967’s “The Unclean Dozen. ” He most recently given his voice to 1998’s “Small Soldiers. ”
