Cornell University frat disciplined for sex contest dubbed ‘Pig Roast’

A Cornell University fraternity chapter has been put on two-year probation for holding a sex competition that members dubbed the ‘ pig roast’ in reference to the of the women they slept along with, the New York Post reported .

University or college officials launched an investigation of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity last year right after hearing reports about the secret video game, in which members could get ‘ points’ by having sex with women.

When it comes to a tie in the contest, the particular win would go to the member that had sex with the heavier lady. The new members were told to not inform the women about the contest.

Cornell’s fraternity and sorority review board identified the chapter was in violation associated with policies against hazing and physically abusive behavior.

The fraternity said that the particular allegations were contrary to its ideals and mission and that the chapter’s leadership and brotherhood at large had been “shocked and appalled” about the unsanctioned activities.

The fraternity said it will carry out a membership review in partnership with the international headquarters and expel any kind of members found to be not devoted to the fraternity’s ideals and beliefs. It said it will host several educational programs on healthy interactions.

Included in the two-year probation, the university mentioned the fraternity will be required to employ a live-in adviser, be susceptible to external reviews, and participate in on-going education about sexual violence.
