Florida high school shooting leaves one student injured; suspect in custody

A believe was in custody following a shooting in a Florida high school Friday that hurt one student, police said.

The particular Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated the incident occurred at Woodland High School in Ocala. Authorities stated the suspected shooter, identified as 19-year-old Sky Bouche, was not a current pupil at the school. The suspect proceeded to go inside the school and allegedly chance a 17-year-old male student about what was believed to be an intentional respond. It was not immediately clear when the two knew each other.

The student had been allegedly shot in the ankle, delivered to a local hospital for treatment and it is expected to fully recover. The identification of the victim were not immediately launched.

Law enforcement said the particular shooting was called in to specialists at 8: 39 a. meters. and the gunman was in custody simply by 8: 42 a. m. SE R
