Florida woman caught with cocaine in purse blames it on windy day, police say

Did her explanation check out like a breeze?

A 26-year-old lady in Florida claimed that “ a windy day” was the reason cocaine was in her bag, WPLG reported Friday.

Fort Pierce regulators stopped a swerving car at the end of March and questioned passenger Kennecia Posey, the station explained.

Police mentioned an officer smelled marijuana, even though going through the car, marijuana and crack were discovered in bags in Posey’s purse, WPLG added.

Posey reportedly stated the marijuana belonged to her.

“ I don’t know anything about any kind of cocaine, ” the station cited her as saying in a law enforcement report. “ It must have flown through the window and into the purse. ”

She was charged using a felony count of cocaine ownership and a misdemeanor count of cannabis possession – and has been launched on bond, according to WPLG.
