Google employees resign in protest over controversial Pentagon AI project, report says

About a dozen Google employees are resigning in demonstration over the tech giant’ s participation in Project Maven, a questionable military program that uses synthetic intelligence, Gizmodo reports .

Project Expert, which harnesses AI to improve jingle targeting, has been a source of concern for several Google employees. Last month, more than 3, 100 Google workers agreed upon a letter to the company’ ersus CEO Sundar Pichai asking your pet to pull the tech giant out from the project.

Announced last year, Project Maven is made to swiftly pull important data through vast quantities of imagery.

The tech news site cites an internal Google document that contains written accounts from many of the workers that details their decisions in order to leave. Multiple sources have apparently shared the document’ s material with Gizmodo.
