GOP operative who sought Clinton’s emails committed suicide

Peter W. Smith, an 81-year-old GOP donor from Chicago, has been found dead in a Rochester, Mn hotel room on May 14. The particular Tribune obtained a state death report stating Smith committed suicide within the hotel on the date.
