GOP Rep’s Office Got A Student Suspended For Cursing While Asking For Gun Control

A Conservative   congressman sparked outrage after his office had a pupil suspended from high school.

The reason?  

During a brief phone call, the teen experienced the temerity to use a four-letter phrase while advocating for gun control .

Since students around the nation left course for 17 minutes to demonstration gun violence last week, Noah Christiansen called the office of Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev. ), the Wa Post reported.   The jr at Robert McQueen High School within Reno, Nevada, told the staffer who answered the phone that congress need to “ get off their fucking asses ”   to pass gun manage laws.

“ Being yelled at for contacting my representative and trying to make change in the world is one of the worst emotions I’ ve ever experienced, ”   Christiansen told the United states Civil Liberties Union. “ I’ ve never even had a detention before, let alone a suspension. ”  

The organization blasted Amodei’ s i9000 office for “ unconstitutional retaliation” against the student.  

“ The particular retaliation by Congressman Amodei’ ersus office is a betrayal of the First Modification and of the representative process , ”   ACLU of The state of nevada Executive Director Tod Story stated in a news release. “ Nothing this particular constituent did was illegal, and hope Congressman Amodei would be because interested in the opinions of college students as anyone who seeks to ‘ petition the government. ’ ”

Amodei, a gun rights advocate, told the particular Los Angeles Times he had no i’m sorry for the teen.
