Gun owner saves pregnant pizza driver from beating, robbery: police

Talk about being a great neighbor.

A pregnant pizza car owner was being beaten with a rifle simply by two teens in southwest Atl on Wednesday night when a gun-owning nearby resident saw the event and sprang into action, the Gwinnett Journal-Constitution reported .

Dennis Madaris told the station he picked up his weapon and told the particular suspects, “ Drop the weapon or I’ ll drop a person, ” according to the station.

That’ s whenever Madaris said the teens cast off the weapon and took off operating.

The 16-year-old boy and girl had been later arrested in connection with the assault. They were charged with assault, ownership of a firearm and attempt to devote robbery, the station reported.

The expecting woman suffered minor injuries plus was taken to a hospital as being a precaution.
