Korn’s New Bassist Is The 12-Year-Old Son Of Metallica’s Bassist

There is now a definitive child from the Korn .

Over the weekend, nu-metal band Korn introduced on Facebook that they will become touring their upcoming South America displays with a special guest. Filling in for regular bassist, Fieldy, will be Tye Trujillo the 12-year-old kid of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.

We have been bummed Fieldy cant join all of us on this run but excited to perform a few gigs with a young participant like Tye, said the music group in the statement. We look forward to inviting our brother Fieldy back when all of us return to the States in May.

The younger Trujillo is currently the bassist for the band called The Helmets. His popular dad has played live with your pet onstage in the past, which you can watch beneath.

This isnt the first time within the last few months that Korn has been associated with very unexpected news.

A limited edition Korn-themed Toblerone materialized in December and pictures of the surprising chocolate bar rebounded around the internet.

Below is Korn drummer Ray Luzier posing with guitar player Brian Welch and the custom pubs.

Also, never forget when the music group made a guest appearance on Southern Park in 1999 as a parody from the Scooby-Doo mystery team. The associates of Korn are apparently the particular kings of strange pop tradition moments.
