Las Vegas massacre: Jason Aldean on stage when shots rang out near Mandalay Bay

Nation music star Jason Aldean verified his safety on Instagram earlier Monday morning after gunshots proceeded to go off while he was carrying out on stage at the Route 91 Collect country music festival in Vegas.

Aldean was reportedly performing the last song of his fixed.  

One witness told Fox Information that Aldean rushed off the phase as soon at the gunshots went away from. The gunshots were heard around 10 p. m. local period near Mandalay Bay Hotel plus Casino.

Concert-goers reported seeing muzzle sensations from the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Aldean’ s wife, Brittany Aldean, also took to Instagram to provide her thoughts and prayers for that victims.

Many fans from the singer took to Twitter to express their particular shock and support.

Witnesses said they saw multiple sufferers as they fled the gunfire pouring down on the concert venue. Several later huddled in the basement from the nearby Tropicana hotel-casino.

Some officers took cover at the rear of their vehicles while others carrying attack rifles ran into the Mandalay These types of Hotel and Casino.

Concertgoers said these people initially thought the gunshots had been firecrackers.  

Jake Owen, one of the occasion headliners who performed before Aldean, tweeted out shortly after the capturing to confirm that he was safe.    

Police have shut down part of the Vegas Strip after receiving reports of the active shooter.

This is the fourth time the nation music festival was being held within Las Vegas and this year it was headlined by popular singers like  Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, the Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice, Kane Brown, and Lauren Alaina,   The particular Las Vegas Weekly   documented.
