Man steals car, then calls owner for help starting it, police say

The Minnesota man has been arrested right after allegedly stealing a car from a Walmart parking lot, then calling the master less than two hours later pertaining to help starting the vehicle.

Edward Leroy Wilson, 37, is suspected associated with sneaking into the car after the owner turned it on distantly from within the Sartell, Minn., shop, the St . Cloud Times reported .  

The woman who owns the vehicle apparently wished to warm it up Monday night within frigid evening temperatures, but when she went to the parking great deal, the car was gone.

Police say Wilson had driven the vehicle more than an hour or so away, but ran into difficulty restarting the car after he had left it.

About 10: 30 p. meters. — less than two hours right after surveillance images showed the car leaving behind the lot —  the owner obtained a call from a woman who have told her that a man was wondering questions about the vehicle, the St Cloud Times reported.

Wilson, who provided a fake name, then talked to the owner directly, and requested if she could find someone to begin the car for him, police stated.

Officials responding to a suspicious person contact identified Wilson and the stolen automobile during Wilson’s conversation with the proprietor, according to local reports, and required Wilson into custody.

He reportedly accepted to the crime and told officials “he knew it was not a good concept to get the vehicle, ” according to the criminal complaint filed against your pet.
