Man Who Survived Bear Attack Gets Bitten By A Shark

For some reason, the animal kingdom must detest Dylan McWilliams.

On Thursday, the particular 20-year-old resident of Grand Junction, Colorado, was bitten by a shark  while boogie-boarding off the island associated with Kauai, Hawaii.

This is not more than a year after McWilliams  was attacked by a 300-pound black bear whilst camping in Boulder County, Co, according to CBS Denver.

McWilliams was  about 30 yards through shore when he was bumped off his board and all of a sudden felt a searing pain in the right leg.

“ In the beginning I panicked, ” he informed the Honolulu Star-Advertiser . “ We didn’ t know if I dropped half my leg or exactly what. ”

McWilliams said this individual believes the animal that attacked your pet was a  6- to 8ft tiger shark — he noticed the stripes — and he kicked it hard before attempting to swim in order to shore.

“ That was the particular scariest part. I didn’ to know where the shark was, and am didn’ t know if he’d come after me again, ” he told the paper.

McWilliams did make it to shore exactly where bystanders helped him get to an urgent situation room.

Although the injury wasn’ to life-threatening, McWilliams suffered some serious cuts based on the photos he submitted on Facebook .

Even though an experience like that might make some scared of future ocean swims, McWilliams had been mad the cuts kept your pet from boogie-boarding.

“ I’ mirielle just mad that I can’ capital t get back in the water for a few days, ” McWilliams told Hawaii TV station KGMB .

Naturally , McWilliams is almost used to being assaulted by large creatures with large teeth after his bear experience last year.

“ The bear snapped up the back of my head and began pulling me and I was battling back as best as I could, ” he said. “ It decreased me and stomped on us a little bit, and I was able to get back to the girls and they scared it away. ”

Oh, and three years back, he was bitten by a rattlesnake while hiking in Utah.

In spite of being a magnet for animal assaults, McWilliams holds no grudge: This individual just figures he was in the incorrect place at the wrong time.

“ I’ ve always loved creatures and spent as much time with these as I could, ” he informed the BBC .   “ I don’ t blame the particular shark, I don’ t fault the bear, and I don’ big t blame the rattlesnake. ”
