Melania Trump returns to White House after kidney procedure

First lady Melania Trump came back to the White House on Sunday after undergoing a kidney treatment earlier this week.

Her workplace said in a statement that she actually is “ resting comfortably and continues to be in high spirits” after coming back home. The statement also thanked everyone who had sent their finest wishes to her — noting it had received “ thousands of phone calls and emails. ”

The first woman underwent an embolization procedure upon Monday at Walter Reed Nationwide Military Medical Center. Such a procedure is normally performed to cut off blood provide to a tumor, aneurysm or unusual growth, typically growing in the kidney or liver, to shrink this.  

Her office stated on Monday that there has been simply no complications. President Trump visited the girl throughout the week and had also thanked well-wishers for their support.

On Wednesday, she mentioned she was “ feeling great” and looking forward to returning home.
