Michigan girl raises funds for veterans using lemonade stand

Samantha Stricker, an 11-year-old from Saginaw Township, in The state of michigan, is running a lemonade stand within her town for the third calendar year in a row to raise money pertaining to veterans.

Samanthas mother, Kelly, informed WSGW radio that although she helped her daughter associated with lemonade and the stand, the event has been all Samanthas idea.

During her first two years working the lemonade stand, Samantha elevated $250 for veterans. But this season, shes upped her expectations, and place a goal of $500.

The proceeds from Samanthas lemonade stand will be used to purchase blankets and care products for individuals at the Aleda E. Lutz Experienced Affairs Medical Center in Saginaw, WSGW reported.  

Her lemonade stand, grown in front of American Legion Post 439 in Saginaw, is open regarding business until 5 p. mirielle. on July 15.
