The 3-year-old girl was found secure on Friday after spending the night in the rural Missouri cornfield with the girl faithful Yorkshire terrier by the girl side.
The Missouri Condition Highway Patrol said the whole event began around 8: 30 g. m. Thursday after officers obtained a 911 call that 3-year-old Remy Elliott wandered from the girl home in the town of Qulin, located about 175 miles southern of St . Louis.
Missouri State Road Patrol Sgt. Clark Parrott informed the Associated Press a search started that included an airplane, however the girl was not found overnight.
Volunteers joined up with police to search a cornfield Fri morning and eventually came across the girl right after 8 a. m., when lookup dogs began barking — and also a tiny dog voice started yapping in response.

“ You don’ t listen to well in the corn either, then when somebody is yelling your title, I mean you hear them, but you don’ t know where it is originating from. The corn feels like razor cutting blades cutting you, I think anyway, specifically for a child, ” said Hardcastle.
Authorities mentioned the small girl had several mosquito bites but was otherwise unharmed.
The ladies mother, Timber Merritt, told FOX4 she now is going to keep a detailed eye on those bites.
“ I’ ve never seen that lots of mosquito bites, ” she stated. “We are going to give her the bath and keep putting medicine onto it. ”
Merritt said that she plans to place up a fence so Remy won’ t wander out of the lawn again.
