A mysterious beast has washed up on Rhossili seaside on Gower with experts up to now unable to confirm its identity.
It has a 5ft (1. 52m) skeleton with a long mind and large jaw line and several believe it is a cetacean, such as a whale, dolphin or porpoise.
“When you look at it the first time you might think it is a crocodile, but it is certainly not really, ” said Swansea University specialist Dan Forman.
Beth Janetta, 41, discovered the body while walking her dogs.
National Trust area ranger Indicate Hipkin, who was called to collect the particular remains, said he thought it had been a porpoise.
“We have porpoises washing up quite frequently, as well as dolphins and seals — and sometimes sheep, ” he or she said.
Dr Forman, a bioscience specialist, said: “It’s jaw line suggests it is just like a cetacean whale or a dolphin. inch
