4 new 50p coins featuring a number of Beatrix Potter’s favourite fictional figures are to be released, the Royal Great has announced.
Philip Rabbit, Mrs Tittlemouse and Flopsy Bunny will feature on the cash, which will enter general circulation for the limited time later this year.
Coloured collectable versions is going to be available to buy for either £ 10 or £ 60.
They will be added to the Beatrix Potter collection, launched in 2016 to commemorate 150 years considering that her birth.
The brand new designs will also include a helpful computer mouse from the story of the Tailor Associated with Gloucester.
The Philip Rabbit coin will go on sale nowadays on the Royal Mint’s website, as the other three designs will go for sale later this year.
The particular recreations are from hand-painted pictures from Potter’s books.
