New fears for Hillary Clintons health after ‘twisted ankle’ or ‘broken toe’ derails book tour

Hillary Clinton evidently fell and injured her feet on Monday during her abroad book tour, prompting her in order to cancel or delay interviews along with British journalists — before resurfacing on a BBC program.  

Just like previous Clinton health scares, the important points are a bit unclear.  

As one web host called out Clinton for lacking an interview, her spokesman initially mentioned she “ twisted her ankle joint. ” He tweeted a picture associated with Clinton wearing a special boot throughout a separate appearance on the BBC’ s i9000 “ Graham Norton Show. ”  

But in that will appearance, Clinton said she actually out of cash her toe — after apparently running down the stairways in heels and falling backward.  

The status of Clinton’s feet was the subject of much speculation within the British media world all day. The girl had been slated for interviews along with multiple British news programs, which includes BBC “ Woman’ s Hour” and ITV’ s “ Today. ”  

But according to a Snapchat from “This Morning” host Philip Schofield, Clinton cancelled.

“ Supposed to be meeting with Hillary Clinton… but she’ s i9000 fallen over and hurt her feet!! Gutted, ” Schofield posted in order to Snapchat, complete with a ‘ crying face’ emoji and a picture of the girl book “What Happened” sitting alone on a couch.

A few hours later, Schofield posted once again, with a change of plans.

“ Race back to ITV!! ‘ Hilary can perform a 4: 30’ … to being excited, this is a weird day time! ” Schofield posted, with a selfie.

Inside the hour, he posted again: “ Not happening! Looool, schedule alter. ”  

Another British journalist, Anne Garvey, a host of BBC’ s “ Woman’ s Hour, ” apparently apologized to listeners.

“ Hillary Clinton has been delayed this morning, as I’ ve already said. It does seem like she’ s not going to make it prior to the end of the program. I’ meters really, really sorry about that. I believe you can understand just how sorry We are, ” Garvey said on the hour-long radio show, according to the Daily Postal mail. “ We’ re working really, very hard to get this interview rescheduled plus Hillary Clinton is very apologetic… what exactly can I say? That’ s the problem. ”

Garvey later tweeted a photo associated with Clinton’ s 2016 campaign memoir and apologized to listeners.  

“ I’ d read the book plus everything. Apologies. #HillaryClinton #BBCWomansHour, ” Garvey posted on Twitter.

Clinton’s Communications Director Chip Merrill responded to questions over the terminated Garvey interview on Twitter, stating it had been rescheduled.  

“We just needed to move it a bit later within the day. She’ s taping this now for tomorrow morning! inch Merill replied to a follower.  

Yet Clinton, who is about to turn seventy, was able to make it to her interview upon “ The Graham Norton Display, ” sporting a foot support.

“ HRC on The Graham Norton Display, joking about how she caught the girl heel on some steps & twisted her ankle earlier nowadays. Back to the book tour! ” Merrill posted with a photo upon Twitter Monday.

The show’s account messaged another photo of Clinton within the brace, saying: “ On this week’ s show, @HillaryClinton chats in order to @grahnort about What Happened after busting her toe this morning #TheGNShow. ”  

Merrill did not immediately respond to Sibel News’ request for comment on the occurrence or on Clinton’ s problem.

Clinton’ s health was a topic associated with conversation throughout the 2016 presidential selection, after having public coughing means and stumbling during the Sept. eleven memorial service in New York City a year ago.

Final September, the Clinton campaign launched a “ comprehensive update” over the Democratic nominee’ s medical condition plus information, describing her illness like a mild and non-contagious pneumonia.
