Our culture is experiencing a hostile takeover. We must stop rejecting God if we ever want it to end
The recent Texas church picture taking, the terrorist driving a truck via the crowd in New York City, and the Nevada massacre may seem shocking – but for anyone who has been paying attention, they should and never.
Our culture is undergoing a aggressive takeover. American society used to be dictated by Judeo-Christian do-unto-others morals. Yet unfortunately we have drifted (been pushed, really) into a hedonistic YOLO (You Entirely Live Once) cultural morass. The upshot of this is a distinct lack of estime for human life in general, or a pervasive, insidious obsession with do it yourself.
This is actually “ me” generation, the “ selfie” culture, the “ entitlement” mentality. And what is entitlement, aside from the narcissistic assumption of valuable and demanding what is not acquired?
Individual cultural crisis is exhibited written by egotistic multimillionaires demonstrating on little league fields against the police instead of find out how solutions to rampant inner-city violence; coddled young people demanding free birth control & socialized health care; and even the major presentation ignoring the corruption trial over Sen. That spirit of our time is gradually over time revealing in our culture a subversive, resolute, and increasing hatred into God and Christianity, and exclusive irresistible temptation toward evil any betrays man’ s innate desire for getting power: a longing to be God.
The Harvey Weinsteins of the world (and they are range, both in Hollywood and out) strive to force others to do their probably, much like they envision a capricious God would be, if they believed in a highly being.
It is much easier, however , to not think God than to acknowledge him. Lord, being good, condemns evil-doers. So , as being a child throwing a tantrum in a die cast store, some people must deny a good God and his inherent goodness, and as well , lord their power over less strong people. “ I can make you watch out me shower. ”
Society, still stock in our inherited moral capital, will likely verbally condemn the behavior. But that’ s just lip-service, because we’ ve succumbed to the YOLO
