Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have been given more money to continue the search.

More than £ 11m continues to be spent on the Metropolitan Police query, known as Operation Grange, but financing was due to run out at the end of the particular month.

A Home Workplace spokesman said the government was “committed” to the investigation into the 2007 disappearance of Madeleine in Portugal.

Scotland Yard began its very own investigation into the case in 2011.
