A Texas law enforcement chief is speaking out right after he says an employee at a local restaurant declined to serve two of their officers early Saturday.
Denison Law enforcement Chief Jay Burch wrote as to what happened in a lengthy post within the Department’ s Facebook page. He or she said the officers were cursed at by the female employee who seem to refused service and that the cafe manager’ s only response had been “ I don’ t enter politics. ”
“ If a business will not want police officers as customers, simply let us know, ” Burch wrote. “ There’ s no need to curse all of us and make a scene, just contact us you don’ t want all of us there and we’ ll move somewhere else. ”
He added, “ At this point going somewhere else in Denison in the center of the night is not easy because the officers don’ t have many choices. What really gets my goat with such an incident is that while many of us are sleeping – resting!, the officers are out there spending so much time to keep us safe and when endeavoring to take a break to eat – they encounter this type of reception from an employee of the local business and management phone calls it ‘ politics’? ”
Burch certainly not named the restaurant. The Sherman Herald Democrat reported that this officers were refused service in the Whataburger in Denison just after night time Saturday.

Denison Sgt. Holly Jenkins said upon Facebook that the employee was unashamed, shameless, expressed her hatred toward law enforcement and said she would continue to decline service to police officers.
Jenkins said both officers were served by one more employee.

The employee alleged “ police beat up my boyfriend and are racists, ” Burch said. He additional that the woman told the boss her boyfriend was “ defeat up” when Denison officers imprisoned him a few weeks ago.
Burch said the manager went to the station and discovered the documentation of the arrest after which reviewed the video of the arrest through the arresting officer’ s dash camera.
