Sarah Sanders booted so restaurant could uphold ‘certain standards,’ co-owner says: report

A co-owner of a eating place that declined to serve Whitened House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday reportedly cited values and living up to “certain requirements, ” as the reason why.

Stephanie Wilkinson recalled the moments prior to the encounter in an interview along with the particular Washington Post , starting with the phone conversation she had with the employee, who revealed that Sanders was dining at the Red Chicken in Lexington, Va.

After her chief cook reportedly told her that “ the particular staff is a little concerned, ” Wilkinson left her home and going for the restaurant.

Right after arriving, Wilkinson recalled to the Article that Sanders’ party had several appetizers on the table, but had not however received their entrees. She mentioned she spoke to her employees, wondering them how they wanted her to maneuver forward.

She reportedly said the push secretary replied simply by saying “ That’ s fine. I’ lmost all go, ” before she plus her entire party left the particular restaurant.

Wilkinson told the Blog post that the Sanders group had “ offered to pay, ” but Wilkinson declined, telling them that there had been no charge for their order.

Following the exchange, TMZ  reported that Sanders was kicked out there of the restaurant upon “ moral grounds” and reported a waiter who said that Sanders was served “ for a overall of two minutes before the owner kicked her out together with seven of her other members of the family. ”

Sanders confirmed the events on Twitter ,   saying she was informed to leave by the owner mainly because she worked for the president.

Looking back, Wilkinson told the Post, she “would have done the same thing again. ”

Meanwhile, a good unaffiliated restaurant in Washington, also known as the Red Hen, was trying to convince customers that it was not active in the Sanders dispute, which took place within Virginia.
