Sorority grants World War II vet’s final wish to dance with a beautiful woman

A bedridden 92-year-old Ww ii veteran had a dying wish achieved thanks to a Mississippi sorority– in order to dance with a beautiful woman.

Navy blue vet Paul Sonnier was the visitor of the Phi Mu Sorority on the University of Southern Mississippi within Hattiesburg at a party in his recognize Monday, WDAM-TV reported.

“He’d consistently ask me if I wanted to visit Ropers, the local bar, ”  the particular sorority’ s Jessica Moreau stated. “ He says ‘I’ll teach you the best way to jitterbug and the waltz. ‘”

Moreau fulfilled Sonnier through SouthernCare Hospice Solutions, where she interns. During trips, he told her his final desire was to dance with a stunning woman.

Sonnier “danced” to the music when he grasped hands with his hosts through his bed.

“It feels good to be using these beautiful women, ” he or she told the station.

Family members said Sonnier was  in the Navy during the Gem Harbor attack and served throughout the war.

“What we appreciate the most is  that our greatest generation member, my dad, is happy that this younger era appreciates everything that he did plus sacrificed so they can sit here and also have fun and have the freedoms that they have, inch his daughter Ida Sonnier stated.
