An The state of alabama sixth-grade teacher said he discovered a valuable lesson on kindness having a special note from one of their students this week.
Price Lawrence, who teaches with Highlands Elementary in Huntsville, stated in a Facebook post on Wednesday that his students could inform he wasn’ t himself.
When motivated about why he was “ a little off, ” Lawrence informed his students that his father-in-law passed away over the weekend and that he has been worried about his wife.
“ They all mentioned they were sorry and then we started on our work, ” he published.
Once the students were leaving the course to go to their next period, Lawrence said one little girl stopped and set something in his hand.
“ She informed me: ‘ This is for your wife. I know it had been real expensive when my dad died and I don’ t want ice cream today anyways, ’ ” he wrote.
The little girl handed your pet three quarters and a note that mentioned: “ Ms. La[w]rence, I’ m sorry. ”
