Texas woman shoots, kills home intruder

The 60-year-old Texas woman wasn’t having any chances Monday morning when the lady heard two intruders enter the girl home, grabbing her pistol plus shooting one of the would-be thieves deceased, police said.

The woman, who was not really immediately identified, confronted the two equipped men after they entered her Harris County home through an open garage area door around 11: 30 the. m., WTSP reported.  

Cathy Hanks, a neighbor, said a possibility surprising the woman fired her gun when she saw a risk in her home, explaining: “That’s really how we are. That’s simply Texas. ”

“It’s the state of Tx. If you’re going to go into someone’s house, you’re going to get shot, ” Hanks stated.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s spokesman Jones Gilliland told WTSP that each intruders — neither of who were identified — were using pistols when the woman confronted all of them. She fired several shots plus struck at least one man, who flattened and died in her yard.  

Police found a gun next to the particular dead man’s body. His accomplice jumped over the fence and steered clear of, though it’s unclear if he or she was wounded in the incident.

The woman had not been injured in the incident. She failed to know the intruders, WTSP reported.

Police continue to be looking for the second intruder, described as a person in his 20s who was wearing darkish clothing with red underwear peeking out of his pants.
