If you don’ t ask, a person don’ t get.
So , whenever Temple University student Sylvia Wilson discovered “ Black Panther ” star Michael B. Jordan was filming “ Creed 2” on her Philadelphia campus, she cheekily direct-messaged him upon Instagram, asking if she can buy him a smoothie in return for a photograph.
“ I didn’ t think he’ d in fact respond but I really wanted to satisfy him, ” Wilson, 21, informed HuffPost on Thursday.
To Wilson’ s astonishment, Jordan actually taken care of immediately the Tuesday message — plus ended up briefly hanging out with Wilson plus her friends. Wilson later contributed these photographs of the encounter in order to Twitter:
“ I almost approved out when I realized he messaged me back, ” said Wilson, who is studying public relations and programs to attend law school after the lady graduates. “ I kept rereading the message not believing it had been really him. ”
Wilson’ h snaps have now gone viral, evoking the #pullasylvia hashtag to trend since other people on Twitter attempted getting in touch with their own idols:
Wilson, who lives in Atlanta, described Jordan as “ AMAZING. ”
“ He was so lovely and nice , ” Wilson told BuzzFeed. “ He has been more than happy to take pictures with me plus my friends that came with me. ”
Who knows, maybe Jordan will stop to find the Philadelphia high school senior who brought a cardboard boxes cutout of him to prom?
