Toddler shoots person to death on orders of South Carolina man, cops say

A 3-year-old boy shot a person to death Tuesday after this individual was given a gun and ordered in order to chase the victim around the backyard of a home, South Carolina cops mentioned.

Albert Davis, 31, was billed with murder in the death associated with Timothy Johnson, 24, after authorities say Davis gave the homicide weapon to the toddler, Aiken Region Sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Shunn mentioned.

Davis was also charged with possession of the stolen handgun and contributing to the particular delinquency of a minor, authorities mentioned.

Shunn told the Associated Press that will deputies were still investigating exactly why Davis gave the child the weapon and whether Davis was furious at Johnson. It was not instantly clear what the relationship was among Davis and the toddler.

The Aiken Regular reported that the ATF RAGE Job force and the S. C. Section of Social Service were helping in the investigation.

Neither court nor prison records indicated whether Davis posseses an attorney.
