Trump says North Korea, South Korea have his ‘blessing’ to try ending decades-long war

President Jesse Trump announced Tuesday that Northern Korea and South Korea is going to be meeting to end their decades-long battle — and both countries have got his “ blessing. ”

Within an unannounced sit-down with the media, Trump made the remarks with Western Prime Minister Shinzo Abe simply by his side.

“ They have my true blessing on that, ” Trump mentioned.

Southern Korean President Moon Jae-in plus North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un are set to hold the summit on April 27 inside a village on the border,   Reuters reported.

Even though much has yet to be stated about the goal of the summit, a current report said that the two sides might announce an official end to the army standoff on the Korean peninsula,   Bloomberg documented .

The war began in 1950. Without ever signing a peacefulness treaty, North and South Korea are technically still at battle.
