Trump urges fans to boycott NFL in ongoing criticism of flag-kneeling players

President Trump extended their attack on NFL players who also kneel during the national anthem within a series of tweets throughout the day Sunday, recommending fans boycott games as he ongoing his call for team owners in order to “fire or suspend” the offenders.

He tweeted Sunday afternoon: “Sports fans should never condone players that not stand proud for  their particular National Anthem or their Nation. NFL should change policy! inch

Earlier, he published, “If NFL fans refuse to visit games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will notice change take place fast. Fire or even suspend! ”

He followed that with this particular tweet: “… NFL attendance plus ratings are WAY DOWN. Dull games yes, but many stay away simply because they love our country. League ought to back U. S. ”

The leader also retweeted a supporter who seem to posted a graphic calling to get a “BOYCOTT!! ” of the NFL.

Trump started their criticism in earnest Friday evening when he asked a crowd in a political rally in Alabama: “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL proprietors, when somebody disrespects our banner, to say ‘get that son of the b —- off the field right this moment? At least seven group owners donated $1 million each in order to Trump’s inaugural committee.
