US military aircraft crashes in Iraq, officials say

A Oughout. S. Black Hawk military heli-copter with American service members on-board crashed in western Iraq close to the border with Syria, officials mentioned Thursday.

“Rescue teams are addressing the scene of the downed plane at this time, ” U. S. Main Command said  in a statement .

An early on statement said Centcom received “reports of an incident involving a Coalition aircraft in the vicinity of Al Qaim, Iraq. ”

The incident is the second heli-copter crash for the military in 2 days. A U. S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet jet crashed off the coastline of Key West, Florida, on Wednesday, killing each a pilot and a weapons techniques officer.
