Vice President Mike Pence leaves Colts-49ers game after players kneel during anthem

Vice President Mike Pence strolled out on his home-state Indianapolis Colts Sunday when members of the opposition team kneeled for the national anthem, but a report that Colin Kaepernick, the player who started it all, will endure if given another shot within the NFL was quickly dialed back again.

“I left today’s Colts game because   @POTUS   and am will not dignify any event that will disrespects our soldiers, our Banner, or our National Anthem, inch Pence tweeted.

Several San Francisco 49ers gamers kneeled for the anthem on Weekend in Indianapolis.

Pence later posted a declaration which read, “I left this Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any occasion that disrespects our soldiers, the Flag, or our National Anthem. At a time when so many Americans are usually inspiring our nation with their bravery, resolve, and resilience, now, as part of your, we should rally around our Banner and everything that unites us. ” 

“While everyone is eligible for their own opinions, I don’t think really too much to ask NFL gamers to respect the Flag plus our National Anthem, ” he or she continued. “I stand with Chief executive Trump, I stand with our troops, and I will always stand for our Banner and National Anthem. ” 

President Donald Trump later tweeted, “I asked  @VP   Pence to leave stadium in case any players kneeled, disrespecting our own country. I am proud of him and  @SecondLady   Karen. ” 

Trump’s son Eric also accepted Twitter Sunday, writing, “Vice Chief executive Pence is truly an amazing man! Thanks to standing up for our country and for the particular respect of our great flag! @VP” 

Whilst a quarterback for the 49ers a year ago, Colin Kaepernick sat or kneeled during the national anthem last time of year to bring more attention to the killings of black men by law enforcement officers. The protests have grown this season.

Meanwhile,   CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora corrected his report that got claimed Kaepernick  would stand throughout the national anthem if given an opportunity to play football in the NFL once again.  

“Wanted to clarify one thing regarding  @Kaepernick7 . When I was asked about his whether he would sit or stand for anthem… ” La Canfora tweeted following the report came out earlier Sunday.  

“Standing for Anthem wasn’t something that I actually spoke to Colin about, inch the reporter added. “I relayed what had been reported about your pet standing in the future… ”

“Reports about  @Kaepernick7   standing for anthem had not been refuted, ” La Canfora wrote. “However, I cant say if they are real or not. Colin and I didn’t talk about. ”

In another information, La Canfora said, “Colin would need to address any future demonstrations. I actually didn’t ask him if he’d sit or stand. Our conversation primarily about his will to try out. ”

“I know  @Kaepernick7   is fully committed to actively playing football and helping those within need. What he would do throughout the Anthem I do not know, inch he wrote.

The media reporter added that Kaepernick has been residing in New York and working out privately within New Jersey with the hope of signing using a team this season.

“After sitting down with Colin Kaepernick for several hours, @JasonLaCanfora states the QB is still actively wanting to play in the NFL, ”  NFLonCBS   tweeted Sunday, including a video.  

“He’s not thinking about kneeling, he’s going to donate all their jersey sales, and he’s thinking about standing for the anthem, if provided the opportunity, ” La Canfora at first said in the video segment.  

Upon Sunday, Kaepernick’s girlfriend, radio character Nessa Diab, took to Twitter.  

“The reports that Colin will are a symbol of the anthem are completely fake! He has never discussed this along with anyone, ” she posted.  

Kaepernick retweeted Diab’s message.
