Virtual unknown shakes up the Boston Marathon with a second-place finish

(CNN) Desiree Linden made history at this year’s Birkenstock boston Marathon as the first American female to win the storied competition since 1985.

Who the heck is Sarah Retailers?
According to the Weber Condition University athletics website , Retailers, 26, is a full-time nurse anesthetist who lives in Tucson, Arizona, along with her husband, Blake. Originally through Utah, she graduated from Ogden High School.
Retailers attended Weber State, where the lady was a standout track and industry and cross-country runner from this year to 2012. There, she received the 5, 000 meters plus 10, 000 meters three times — each — at the Big Atmosphere outdoor championships. She also gained the 5, 000 meters two times and 3, 000 meters as soon as at the indoor championships.
She also did properly in class, graduating with a medical degree and a 4. 0 GRADE POINT AVERAGE.
After graduating, she continued to work with Weber Condition track and field coach John Pilkington. Since she also has the full-time job, training either occurs at 8 p. m. or even 4 a. m. In Sept, she ran her first convention in Huntsville, Utah, which the lady received and set a course report.
