Weeping Dennis Rodman praises Trump’s meeting with friend Kim Jong Un, blasts Obama for ignoring him

Dennis Rodman, the former NBA star and longtime friend associated with Kim Jong Un who has stopped at North Korea several times, broke down within tears during a televised interview earlier Tuesday as President Trump plus Kim held a historic conference in a hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.

In an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo that quickly grew to become emotionally charged, Rodman, wearing a crimson “Make America Great Again” head wear, blasted former President Barack Obama for not taking the North Korean chief seriously.

“I just wanna bring sports in order to North Korea, ” Rodman stated, before saying he’d like to be engaged in bringing sports to Northern Korea. “That’s it, sports…. Now i am just so happy to be here, guy, ” he added, calling this “the world’s day. ”

“Donald Trump should take a lot of credit with this. He went out the box and produced this happen, ” Rodman additional.

Rodman previously has spoken fondly from the North Korean dictator, even phoning Kim “ misunderstood” despite acknowledging that the despot is probably a “ madman. ”  

Rodman frequently went to Kim in North Korea beginning in 2013, when he kept the despot’ s newborn child who has never been seen in the general public.

Rodman’ s history with Trump is rather brief. He’ s twice made an appearance on “ Celebrity Apprentice” and gave a copy of Trump’ s “ Art of the Deal” to the North Korean sports ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) during a visit to Pyongyang last 06. Rodman has hoped to be the someone to facilitate a relationship between Trump and Kim.

Cuomo and Rodman previously sparred four years ago in the heated confrontation, when Cuomo started asking questions about North Korea that Rodman said were unacceptable.
