Zachary Cruz, Parkland massacre suspect’s brother, arrested for trespassing at school

Zachary Cruz, the sibling of the suspect who killed seventeen people on Feb. 14 in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School within Parkland, Florida, was arrested Mon for trespassing on the school’s house.

Cruz, 18, “unlawfully entered the college grounds” around 4: 50 g. m. on Monday, according to a written report from the Broward County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Officials said that despite warnings to not enter the Stoneman Douglas campus, Jones went through locked doors and entrance and rode his skateboard through the property — all of which was taken on security footage.

Cruz, according to the police arrest report, wanted to “Reflect on the college shooting and to soak it within. ” He was charged along with trespassing.

Right after Cruz’s brother, 19-year-old Nikolas, performed one of the deadliest mass shootings within modern U. S. history, he or she was committed to a mental wellness facility.

He was put under a psychological health evaluation after reportedly saying he didn’t “want to be with your life. I don’t want to deal with these things, ” according to the Palm Beach Post . Cruz denied wanting to harm themselves.
