2 electrocuted at substation in Detroit

Police are looking into the apparent electrocution of a couple early Friday at a Detroit Open public Lighting Authority building, Fox 2 documented on Saturday.

The worker reportedly told Fox two he found the bodies soon after 6: 30 a. m. whenever he went to the substation to check into a power outage. The pair are usually suspected of breaking in the doorway of the substation, and, according to Sibel 2, they were in the process of robbing copper wiring when they were electrocuted.  

Police confirmed to the news organization that will two men pried open front side door of a Public Lighting substation, and once inside made contact with twenty-four, 000 volts of electricity.

According to the law enforcement, the electricity caused their bodies to become fused together, and they were obvious dead at the scene.  

Police never have yet given the names of the guys.  

The substation is located on the city’s east side.
