Hey, Laura Ingraham, David Hogg Actually Did Get Into UC Irvine

Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg , famously mocked by Fox News Laura Ingraham because of not getting into several University of Ca schools, actually did get accepted in order to UC Irvine , according to TMZ.

Hogg, who has become a leading ally for stronger gun laws within the wake of the Feb. 14 massacre at his high school in Lakewood ranch, told TMZ Sunday that he obtained an acceptance letter from Irvine last week.   The outlet reported earlier that Hogg had been rejected by that school and UCLA, North park and Santa Barbara despite a higher grade-point average.

Ingraham final month ridiculed Hogg on Tweets for failing to gain entry to the colleges.   The backlash   was fierce. Hogg encouraged their Twitter followers to contact Ingraham’ s sponsors.   Various advertisers   dropped the particular show, and the host departed on holiday. Ingraham is scheduled to return to the atmosphere   on “ The particular Ingraham Angle” Monday night.

Hogg, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who rallied followers at the March For Our Lives display last month in Washington, didn’ t say whether he approved the offer to attend UC Irvine.   He didn’ t instantly respond to a HuffPost request for remark.

U. S. News and Globe Report ranked UC Irvine  ninth among open public universities and 42nd amongst universities nationally.
