Hillary Clinton’s ‘Fire and Fury’ reading on Grammys slammed by Nikki Haley, Donald Trump, Jr.

Hillary Clinton’s surprise Trump-bashing cameo on the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on Weekend night caused at least a couple of audiences to switch channels, namely the president’s U. N. ambassador, and his earliest son.

Grammys host James Corden set up a pre-taped bit regarding who might take home next year’s spoken word gong.

“We know that the current president does love successful awards and the good news is he might just be the subject of next year’s champion [for Best Spoken Word Album], ” Corden introduced. “The question I’ve got is definitely, who’ll be the narrator? ”

Outspoken anti-Trump stars John Legend and Cher then auditioned to be the narrator intended for Michael Wolff’s book “Fire plus Fury” about Trump’s White Home.

Snoop Dogg, DISC JOCKEY Khaled and Cardi B furthermore read excerpts from the book throughout the fake auditions.

Finally, Clinton read through the book and Corden declared, “That’s it! We’ve got it! ”

Clinton stated, “You think so? The Grammy’s in the bag? ”

Corden replied, “In the bag! ”

The segment resulted in crazy applause from the star-studded crowd. Although not all were pleased.   United states of america Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley slammed the bit. However , the particular harshest words came from Donald Trump Jr.

After the show, Grammys Execuitve manufacturer Ken Ehrlich said getting Clinton to appear in the skit wasn’t hard. However , he credited Corden along with sealing the deal.  

“She kind of required a couple of days to say ‘yes, ‘ yet ultimately she saw the software, she knew what we were performing and she liked it. ” 

Clinton documented the segment near her house on Friday, the Grammys maker added.

He also admitted that he has been aware the cameo was recieving some backlash, but said these people stand by what they did.
