Kabul Intercontinental Hotel siege leaves more than 40 dead, Afghanistan official says

Indoor Ministry spokesman Najib Danish mentioned at a press conference among those wiped out included a foreigner and a telecommunications formal from the western Farah province who had been attending a conference. Six others, including three security forces, had been reported wounded and more than a hundred and fifty people, including 41 foreigners, had been rescued from the hotel, Danish mentioned.

A number of people managed to escape to the hotel’s outdoor pool area where these people hid until being rescued simply by security officers.  

Aziz Tayeb, who have hid behind a pillar, mentioned he heard blasts “one right after another. ”
