Kid Rock sounds off on Confederate flag, anthem controversies: ‘Pay no attention to the garbage’

The rocker shared a lengthy reaction to recent criticism about his forthcoming concerts in Detroit saying the particular backlash to his use of the Confederate flag at concerts is politically motivated.

“Pay NO attention to the rubbish the extreme left is trying to generate! (and by the way, f–k the intense left and the extreme right! ), ” the singer  wrote on Facebook Mon . “They are trying to use the aged confederate flag BS, etc . in order to stir the pot, when we all know nothing of this would be going on if I were not considering running for office. ”

The Detroit-area native, whose real name is certainly Robert Ritchie, was responding to the planned protest by the National Actions Network’s Detroit chapter of their six upcoming Detroit concerts. The very first is scheduled for Tuesday.

“Pretty funny just how scared I have them all and their particular only agenda is to try and content label people / me racist whom do not agree or cower for them, ” he continued. “My background in Detroit and Michigan talks for itself, and I would care to anyone talking trash to put their own up against mine. I am also a home owner and taxpayer in the city of Of detroit, so suck on that too! inch

The particular civil rights group last week required their cancellation because of Kid Rock’s past display of the Confederate banner during performances and his recent critique of black former NFL participant Colin Kaepernick for refusing in order to stand during the national anthem a year ago.

“To be clear – F–k Anyone that takes a knee or sits throughout our national anthem! Pretty sure in case Russell Wilson or Tom Brady were doing it they would have no issue finding a job playing for any team these people wanted in the NFL! So reduce the bulls**t, ” the “All Summer Long” singer shared.

The 46-year-old ended his rant saying this individual “thankful” for the “positive things” taking place in Detroit and to “not allow these handful of jerks sway that will in any way. ”

“I know I should most likely not even have posted anything about these types of bottom feeders but I will constantly stand up for myself, my family, my buddies, my fans, my city, our state, my country and the great in human nature, ” Stone wrote before adding, “P. G. P. P. P. S. I REALLY LIKE BLACK PEOPLE!! ”
