Talk about group spirit.
On Feb. 11, Fox four reported that cheerleaders from Hardin-Central High School in Missouri took good sportsmanship to a brand new level when they joined a single cheerleader representing neighboring Northwestern Senior high school on the sidelines of a basketball tournament.
Hardin-Central cheerleading mother or father Brenda Milligan told the outlet the fact that Hardin-Central squad spent the game from the Northwestern student’ s side therefore she wouldn’ t be by yourself before the CLAA Conference Tournament within Tina.
“ She was embarrassed plus scared, just like any of us would be whenever we had to cheer in front of a big audience all alone. My daughter and the girl squad took the nerve plus went out to cheer with the girl, ” Milligan said. “They discovered her cheers and were able to existing them to the crowd in a short while. ”
The Northwestern cheerleader, Tori Adams, told Fox four that it was “ a big relief” plus sweet surprise for the rival group to join her, as it was “ a little uncomfortable” to cheer simply by herself. Adams said that she had been left alone because many of the girl teammates were sick, or could not make it as the game was a rescheduled make-up game.
“My coach gave me the choice to cheer or not cheer, and am felt like I had to be there for your team. It was a little intimidating, ” Adams said. “ But that will went away when the girls from Hardin-Central came over. They learned a number of my cheers and I learned a selection of their cheers. ”
Strategy to use, girls — your kindness is certainly something everyone can cheer just for.
