Married police chief, 40, accused of seeking sex from agent posing as girl, 14

A married small-town Pennsylvania police chief was imprisoned Friday and accused of wanting to solicit sex online from a good undercover agent posing as a 14-year-old girl.

The state attorney general’s workplace said Leechburg Police Chief Jordan Diebold, 40, was arrested in a spot in Westmoreland County in which he thought he had made plans to fulfill the girl.

Diebold is charged with illegal contact with a minor and criminal try to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, each felonies.

“This case is particularly heinous since the perpetrator is a public official, sworn to serve and protect the city, ” Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said in a statement. “We have a zero tolerance policy for that sexual abuse of children and the office will prosecute any culprit to the fullest extent of the legislation, no matter who they are. ”

WTAE, citing court documents, reported that Diebold sent precise messages and photos to the realtor using the Kik messaging app underneath the username “Kutecop4you. ” The broker said he began communicating with Diebold right after responding to an online ad in which the main described himself as a “dom man… looking for a female sub for on-going play sessions.

“I do not have a set kind of woman so any age, competition or status may email me, inch the alleged posting said.

According to a good affidavit, Diebold was interviewed with no attorney present and admitted in order to sending the messages.

“Diebold admitted which he knew that sexual contact with the 14 year [old] child was wrong and unlawful and that his life was completely over, ” the agent published in the affidavit, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette .
